Fishing is great off the Kona coast and it starts right out of the harbor. Here are a couple of great captains that have flexible charter options. Please let them know you heard about them from us.
Captain Bill Murtagh (Keauhou Bay): 1-808-640-1016
Captain Dee Bradford (Honokohou Harbor):
The west side of the Big Island is covered by beaches and most can be seen at this link. Our favorites are the beaches that require a walk, the longer the walk, the fewer the people.
HIKING & SNORKELING
Hiking, Diving and Snorkeling are unbelieveable on the Big Island and we can't do them justice here. However, snorkeling Captain Cook and the Kopoho Tide Pools are our two favorites. You can also walk to Kahalu'u, the best snorkeling beach in Kailua, right from the condo.
